Paul's work presented on the Match Box Projects Friendship Wall/Group Gallery

Paul Green with his Match Box Gallery at Nagoya Gardens, 2008

Gallery features Pauls series of photographs taken on the road to Coober Pedy

Paul Green

Increasingly my role as a photographer has become that of an archeologist. I like to walk around wherever I am, with whatever camera and at whatever time looking intuitively for subject matter. In most cases I don’t move or disturb the object or scene I’m depicting but will find an angle which best describes the object, person or environment. Some colours catch my eye so I often find myself photographing things that are Yellow. I  like it when there is evidence of decay or change in a photo.

Solo Match Box Gallery

This work was created on a recent trip to Coober Pedy, an opal mining town between Adelaide and Alice Springs in the South Australian outback. I subconsciously chose the theme of busted up Cars and Trucks in the landscape for this exhibition.
