Clemens Habicht, Be Still, black plastic, 2006
Clemens work for Match Box Friendship Wall and1/2doz. Match Box Gallery
This work is a concept maquette for a moving sculptural piece, ‘be still’. Built from kites in the shape of black birds and bridled together, they are to move around each other unpredictably. The work was made as a visual accompaniment to solo piano improvisations by Adrian Klumpes, published by Mute Records, London. The work continues Habicht’s practice of using collage and found material to create elegant illustrations and animations
