IMANTS TILLERS - TOKYO GEIDAI ALUMNI/STUDENTSEXCHANGE
Imants Tillers with Tokyo Geidai Students in front of The Bridgestone Tokyo, 2006
Most of our Tokyo Artist collaborating with us on our Match Box Gallery series are
Alumni, Post Graduate Students and staff from the Painting Department of Tokyo
National University of Fine Arts and Music (Tokyo Geidai). During our Sydney-Tokyo Exchange Tour, we introduced numerous works by renowned Australian painter
Imants Tillers to them. In November, 2006 Imants was in Tokyo for the exhibition
Prism: Contemporary Art at the Bridgstone Museum of Art. He met up with Naomi and
Tokyo Students and gave an artist talk about his work at The Bridgestone.
