In 2009 we launched the Sydney ARI Guide - a printed map, web guide and archive project of Sydney's Artist Run Initiatives (ARIs). Initiatives include artist run galleries, spaces, projects, publications and events where one can discover upcoming and emerging artists and view cutting edge art works often not seen in commercial galleries and public museums.
We update this guide regularly adding new ARIs and archiving those that move on, hibernate or fold.
Since launching the guide we have been host public Walking Tours through Sydney's major ARI hubs for the general public, educational groups, as well as special events for Art Month and MOST.
