A selection of our Encounter......Venice Portraits. Each features our Venice Time Capsule.
This work entailed capturing Venice via portraits of residents we encountered going about their daily life. Each person was photographed after they commented on our Time Capsule (transparent case). They were also invited to become collaborators on additional projects we are developing in Venice.
Encounter is being created as part of our long-term public participatory international art series which explores the identity of diverse cities, their people, places and cultures. This series celebrates diversity and aims to encourage creativity and inclusion, and break down perceptions/stereotypes of regions and cultures.
