People make Places: Sydney - My City
"The Landscape, journey, threads and connections in my Sydneyl"
People Make Places is an evolving series of mixed media portraits looking at the identity of a region through the eyes of her residents. This incorporates inviting locals we encounter to create a small-scale work inside one of our matchboxes responding to the theme “My City”.
Sydney - My City evolved at an event at our exhibition at galleryeight in June 2010, in The Paper Mill studio window whilst we were artist in residence in October 2010, the Hungry For Art Festival, Ryde in 2013 and whilst artist in residences at the Rocks Pop Up over the past few years.
