Kaleidoscope Gallery is a boutique art gallery that is run by small but dedicated group of artist volunteers that are passionate about supporting and nurturing the careers of young and emerging artists.

BACKGROUND

Kaleidoscope Gallery is run with the Artist Run ethos however we run a tight ship! Every artist is supported the same as they would in a commercial gallery in readiness for their long career ahead in the arts.  Gallery staff work with each artist to curate their show, promote and present their work and each artist is represented on the gallery website for 12 months.

Artists are not required to staff the gallery and the gallery team provide letters of provenance to all purchasers of artwork if applicable.  All in all, Kaleidoscope Gallery sees itself as a bridge between the ‘do it yourself’ gallery and the commercial space, with all the flexibility and support of an ARI.

Kaleidosope Gallery is a unique space also in the sense that we hold additional events such as music/poetry nights, life drawing classes and have a small gift shop that artists are encouraged to contribute to if they make small art works or gift items.

Kaleidoscope's first location was in William St Paddington, before moving to 3-7 Danks St Waterloo 2017. In 2013 it moved to its current location in Chippendale
