Items selected must be suitable for international travel (eg no food, soil, broken glass, liquid, sharp edges, explosives etc.) and something that will last for at least 30 years!
We will also be screening works featuring photos we have taken during our travels to Melbourne over the past year and of our recent journeys to other national/international destinations.
If you are in Melbourne please pop by anytime throughout the afternoon, it would be great to see you - friends are welcome too.
If you have any questions, please phone 0419 388 108

On Saturday 4 July 2009, we will be conducting a tour to some of Sydney’s Artist Run Initiatives (ARIs). Run by visual artists, curators and writers, ARIs range from galleries, art spaces and residencies to publications and temporary events. They support the work of local and international contemporary artists, taking you directly to the source of the city’s most cutting-edge artistic output.
Tour guests will meet the artists behind each ARI and view their current projects/exhibitions. This will be followed by afternoon tea and an insight to our projects which inspired us to create the Sydney ARI Guide. This tour is available to Contempo members and non-members. We invite you to join us. See http://www.contempo.org.au/events.asp?id=393 for further details.
